HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!! Today I am showing you a couple of treat holders that I made. One is a very simple sucker holder and the other is a matchbook that holds the little bags of M&M's. I love doing things for the Holidays and then giving them out. I hope everyone has a wonderful and SAFE weekend.

Thankful Thursday
This week's card is a Tri-shutter card that my friend Pam did for our shoebox swap. I love how she used the twine with the leaves. She used Autumn Meadows DSP & the Autumn Splendor stamp set. Pam has been a blessing in my life. She is always making sure I am smiling. She is a gracious host of many events and ALWAYS has a TAB soda with her! She is addicted to TAB. Thanks Pam for making me smile!

Technique Tuesday - Magical Image
Today's technique is very "magical". The image will slowly appear. The snowflake on this card was done using this technique. To do this technique - Remembering to use the embossing buddy, emboss a white snowflake or image onto glossy cardstock. Heat set & set aside. Put rubbing alcohol onto a cotton ball and put 2 different colored drops of reinkers onto cotton ball. Dab cotton ball onto the ENTIRE piece of cardstock. Heat with embossing gun again starting at embossed area and working your way out. The image will magically appear. Hope you like this technique!

Freaky Friday
Only 1 more week before Halloween! Has everyone got their costumes? Today's card is a gate card that I did at a meeting. The tree and owl on front were embossed in black. The stamp set used was the House of Haunts along with the Frightful Fence. A brayer was used to get the night effect behind the tree. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Technique Tuesday - Split Negative
Today's technique is split negative. The best thing about this technique is that when you do the image you end up with two so you can make two cards. This technique is normally done in black and white but try substituting contrasting colors of your choice. 1. Stamp image in VersaMark™ onto a black piece of cardstock, add white embossing powder, tap off excess, and heat set. 2. Repeat the process on a piece of white cardstock & emboss with black embossing powder. Note: you can substitute VersaMark with a colored craft ink pad and use clear embossing powder. 3. Determine the exact midpoint of each piece of cardstock and cut both images in half. There will be four half images at this point. 4. Adhere two opposite images to a coordinating or complimentary piece of cardstock.
Have a great day!

Freaky Friday - Tasty Sweet
This is a Halloween card that we did at my upline's house. I love this stamp set, probably because I love candy corn! The stamp set is the Tasty Sweet stamp set. Colors used were: Basic Black, Summer Sun, Only Orange, Whisper White and some Close to Cocoa on the candy corn. Hope you have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Thankful Thursday
I am blessed with such wonderful friends! I received this card from my good friend Donna in Michigan. It is the "magical marquee" card (at least that is what I believe the design is called). When it is closed it is a beautiful card, then you open it and viola! a surprise. The bird disappeared and the birdhouse appeared. I love the color scheme she used: Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White and Old Olive. Awesome card Donna! Thanks!

Technique Tuesday - Faux Diamond Dust
Do you like sparkles?? If so, then this technique is for you. To get a glittery shimmer to a card here is what you need to do. First, stamp and color in your image. Allow image to dry, if it was water colored. Apply VersaMark to the entire front of the image. Put the piece into a tray of Iridescent Ice embossing powder and make sure it covers the entire image. Melt the powder over the image using an embossing gun. Allow the image to cool prior to adhering to your card. Viola! A dazzling card!

October's Freaky Friday
Seeing that Halloween is just a few weeks away I figured I better post some Halloween cards and projects. So today I am posting this Halloween card that I did for our downline swap. I embossed the black hat with black & iridescent ice embossing powders. I did not have any Halloween DSP at the time so I made my own backgrounds using versa mark and the Itty Bitty Backgrounds stamp set. Hope everyone has a wonderful Friday! Be safe!
